One of the things that makes website builders easy to use is templates. Templates act as a guide to help you build a stunning website in a matter of minutes, versus building it from scratch. But it’s important to look at how customizable these templates are to meet your needs. Some templates are a bit restrictive and only allow you to edit/replace content within the set design. Other templates are truly drag and drop, allowing you to move any object or piece of content to any area on the page. For example, Wix is fully customizable while Weebly has more restrictive templates. Both kinds of template options can be beneficial to you depending upon your needs.
Search engine optimization (SEO) is important if you want your website to rank on the search engine results page when a user for your type of business. Having an SEO friendly site means that search engines such as Google can easily read the contents of your website in order to determine what your site should rank for.
With only 17 themes and extremely rigid site builder, Jimdo is possibly the most limited tool on this entire list. Outside of changing colors, adding text, and uploading images, Jimdo makes it difficult (even impossible) to create a unique and well-designed website.
It’s not exactly an easy website builder to use either, putting it low on our list of recommendations for anyone without Adobe experience, but if you’re familiar with any of their apps, you should find it a breeze. It’s commendably flexible, but about 60-plus editing options are crammed into a mere eight toolbar items—making for a somewhat confusing and overwhelming experience.
Weebly does offer a free version, but you’ll only get 500mb of storage (how many images, videos and files your store can handle). 500mb may seem like a lot but you’ll eat it up very quickly if you need to host high-quality images or videos on your site.
Their drag and drop feature is such a game changer. Not many website builders will allow their users that much flexibility. It was ONLY let down by the numerous annoying upsells. The template options and website builder is the best. I really like their comprehensive support center.
With its affordable price points, Doodlekit is specifically designed for small businesses and startups. You can design or edit your own template, create banners and logos, increase SEO and sell products online.
With all of the amazing and versatile website builders on the market, using Doodlekit to build a beautiful new site is about as good of a decision as using a Windows 98 computer to try and play the latest version of Call of Duty. It’s just not going to happen.
Use Fiverr.com: Fiverr.com is a site that matches you with all kinds of service providers who are willing to do projects, including logos, for just $5. If you use the $5 option you will have to wait a couple of weeks to get your logo. For around $20, you can generally get it that same week. If you find a designer with a portfolio you like, this is easily the best option for the money.
I would advise building a dummy website/blog first using free blog platforms like Blogger, Tumblr or WordPress because their settings are very easy and no terms or conditions to bother you. There are a good number of readymade templates also available. If you are satisfied with the performance, continue, later you can have your own domain.

Most of the creative possibilities are self-evident if you write the source code yourself and design your website through the use of programming languages. Nonetheless, many CMS offer an excellent variety in terms of web design. On the one hand, the CMS developers regularly update the applications and design features in keeping with modern web design. On the other hand, especially in terms of CMS, the community contributes greatly to the improvement of the tool by developing extensions, tools and templates (free or paid). It is recommend that total beginners to take advantage of the uncomplicated web builders as they are easy to use and, despite their limited functionality, are quite sufficient for the creation of many website types.
